Product Overview
The OPTIGEN® AP3600™ Automated In Vitro Allergy Diagnostic System is a fully automated benchtop platform designed for multiplex allergen-specific IgE testing in human serum. The system automates the OPTIGEN assay from sample tube through result and allows a laboratory to evaluate multiple allergens from a single patient sample.
Each OPTIGEN pette can contain up to 36 allergens tested simultaneously. The AP3600 processes as many as 50 pettes per run and up to 100 panels per day, providing as many as 3,600 allergen-specific IgE results per day when using 36-allergen panels.
The platform is designed to reduce hands-on steps through automated reagent-volume calculations, pre-run checks, internal barcode identification and two-way LIS connectivity. It works with preconfigured OPTIGEN Environmental 36 and US Food 30 panels available through Jant Pharmacal.

Automated Allergy-Testing Workflow
1. Prepare
Prepare the patient serum samples and select the appropriate preconfigured OPTIGEN panel.
2. Load
Load the samples, required OPTIGEN pettes and consumables. The instrument verifies loaded components before the run.
3. Run and Review
Start the automated run and review the completed allergen-specific IgE results. A full run is completed in approximately 5.5 hours.
Workflow requirements must follow the current OPTIGEN instructions for use and the laboratory’s established procedures.
