Targeted Pharmacogenomics Research
Jant’s Standard PGx Real-Time PCR Panel provides a predefined selection of genetic targets for pharmacogenomics research. The variant menu includes targets in genes associated with drug metabolism, transport, and response.
The standard configuration provides a starting point for laboratories evaluating a defined PGx target menu. Review the listed variants and discuss your research objectives, instrument, and workflow with our technical team.
Standard Panel Features
Defined Variant Menu
Review 62 listed variant targets across the gene and region entries shown below. Use the complete menu to evaluate alignment with your research objectives.
Sequence & Copy-Number Analysis
The panel includes selected single nucleotide variants and insertions/deletions, together with CYP2D6 copy-number analysis. Discuss the exact assay coverage with our technical team.
Real-Time PCR Workflow
A targeted real-time PCR approach for laboratories researching defined PGx variants. Confirm instrument and analysis requirements for your proposed workflow.
Standard PGx Target Menu
The complete sequence-variant menu is shown below. Each rsID identifies a listed variant target. A gene listing does not indicate coverage of every variant or allele within that gene.
The table contains 62 rsIDs across 17 gene or region entries. CYP2D6 copy-number analysis is described separately below; the rsID list does not specify the copy-number assay design.

CYP2D6 Sequence & Copy-Number Analysis
The Standard PGx Panel combines selected CYP2D6 sequence-variant and indel targets with CYP2D6 copy-number analysis. The sequence-variant menu includes the 18 CYP2D6 rsIDs listed above.
Contact Jant to review the copy-number assay coverage, analysis requirements, and information available for your proposed research workflow.
Review Coverage at the Assay Level
Individual variants can occur in more than one star allele. Detection of a variant does not necessarily establish a complete star-allele assignment. Copy-number analysis also should not be interpreted as confirmation that every structural variant or hybrid arrangement is covered.
Plan Your PGx Research Workflow
Share your laboratory’s requirements with our technical team to discuss the standard panel configuration.
- Your real-time PCR instrument manufacturer and model.
- Your software and existing analysis workflow.
- The variants and genes relevant to your research project.
- Your sample preparation approach and preferred panel format.
- Any questions about CYP2D6 copy-number analysis.
Confirm instrument compatibility, sample requirements, supplied materials, and analysis capabilities before selecting the panel.
Need a Different Target Configuration?
Jant also offers Custom PGx Real-Time PCR Panels for laboratories seeking a different selection of genes or variants. Discuss your requested targets and research requirements with our technical team.
| Option | Starting Point | What to Review |
|---|---|---|
