Product Overview
Medica EasyRA® reagents are designed for use with the Medica EasyRA Clinical Chemistry Analyzer. The liquid, ready-to-use reagent wedges use RFID technology to communicate reagent information directly to the analyzer, helping simplify setup and reduce manual data entry.
When a compatible EasyRA reagent wedge is placed in the reagent area, the analyzer can identify its location and access reagent information such as the assay, lot, expiration date, reagent volume and testing parameters. The system also tracks reagent usage and available inventory during operation.
The current EasyRA menu supports routine chemistry, cardiac-risk testing, enzyme assays, electrolytes, anemia testing and selected urine chemistry applications. Contact Jant Pharmacal to confirm current reagent availability, applicable catalog numbers, calibrators, controls and required consumables.

Open-Channel Reagents
Explore Jant’s broader chemistry reagent offering. Compatibility, programming and laboratory validation must be confirmed for each open-channel application.
Important Reagent Information
- EasyRA reagents are intended for professional in vitro diagnostic laboratory use.
- Intended use, specimen type, calibration, quality-control requirements, measurement range, limitations and CLIA complexity vary by assay.
- Review the current assay instructions before testing patient specimens.
- Reagent availability, packaging, onboard stability and calibration frequency may change.
- Open-channel assays are separate from the current EasyRA-branded reagent menu and require appropriate compatibility review and laboratory validation.
- Current manufacturer labeling and assay-specific instructions take precedence over summary information on this page.

The current EasyRA reagent wedges use RFID technology rather than conventional barcode-only identification. The RFID label communicates reagent and assay information to the analyzer and supports automatic setup, usage tracking and inventory management.
These reagent kits are designed for use with the Medica EasyRA Clinical Chemistry Analyzer. Review the EasyRA analyzer page or contact Jant to discuss the appropriate system configuration.
The EasyRA product literature describes the reagent wedges as liquid and ready to use. Follow the assay-specific instructions for storage, handling, calibration and any preparation requirements.
The March 2026 menu includes routine chemistry, enzymes, cardiac-risk assays, electrolytes, anemia assays and selected urine chemistry tests. The complete current menu is available in the Documentation and Resources section.
The EasyRA supports up to six user-defined open channels. However, an open-channel reagent should not be described as an EasyRA-branded assay unless that status is documented. Compatibility, programming, performance verification and laboratory validation must be addressed before use.
Requirements vary by assay. Contact Jant to identify the applicable calibrators, quality-control materials and system consumables for your selected menu.
Call Jant Pharmacal at 800.676.5565 or submit a request through the product page. Provide the assays and estimated monthly testing volume so the reagent and consumable requirements can be reviewed.
Yes. Jant can help review test volume, reagent usage, calibration frequency, controls and other consumables. You can also request a complimentary ROI proposal.
