Product Overview
The Tosoh AIA-360 Automated Immunoassay Analyzer is a compact, random-access fluorescence enzyme immunoassay system designed for laboratories that need automated testing in a limited footprint. The analyzer processes up to 36 tests per hour and produces the first result in approximately 20 minutes.
The AIA-360 uses Tosoh AIA-PACK® unit-dose test cups and accommodates up to 25 patient samples and 25 test cups on its sample carousel. Barcoded primary tubes or sample cups can be loaded directly, and additional samples or tests can be added without interrupting processing.
Its compact design, icon-driven touchscreen and standardized reagent format can support physician-office laboratories, smaller hospital laboratories, STAT workflows, specialty testing and backup capacity for compatible Tosoh AIA assays. Contact Jant Pharmacal to confirm current analyzer availability, test menu, installation, training, service and reagent support.

Tosoh AIA-PACK Unit-Dose Reagent System
Ready-to-Use Test Cups
The unit-dose format requires no test-cup premixing or premeasuring and does not require onboard refrigeration.
Automated Identification
The analyzer identifies the assay using the test-cup information and monitors common-reagent and waste status.
Shared AIA Platform
Tosoh’s standardized AIA reagent format supports inventory coordination across compatible AIA analyzer workflows.
Only use assays, calibrators, controls, common reagents and consumables specifically labeled for the AIA-360 and the laboratory’s intended use. Assay availability, calibration stability and storage requirements vary by product.
Designed for Flexible Immunoassay Testing
Lower-Volume Laboratories
Compact dimensions and unit-dose reagents can support laboratories with limited bench space and moderate testing demand.
STAT and Specialty Workflows
Random access and an approximately 20-minute first result can support compatible time-sensitive or specialty assays.
Backup AIA Capacity
The standardized Tosoh AIA reagent format may support backup planning for laboratories using compatible AIA assays on larger Tosoh systems.
Compare Tosoh AIA Analyzers
Tosoh AIA systems use the AIA-PACK unit-dose reagent format, with analyzer capacity and workflow designed for different testing volumes.

Important Product Information
- The AIA-360 must be operated by appropriately trained laboratory personnel according to the current operator manual and assay instructions for use.
- Regulatory status, specimen requirements, calibration, quality-control frequency, reference intervals and CLIA complexity are assay specific.
- Only use AIA-PACK assays and supporting products specifically labeled for the AIA-360 and the laboratory’s intended application.
- The linked test menu is an older reference document and should not be treated as confirmation that every listed assay remains available.
- Confirm current analyzer availability, software, LIS interface, installation requirements, training, warranty, service and ongoing reagent support before ordering.

Yes. The manufacturer brochure states that additional samples and tests can be added without interrupting sample processing.
The brochure lists 13 × 75/100 mm and 16 × 75/100 mm primary tubes, along with 2 mL sample cups. Confirm any tube, cap and dead-volume requirements in the current operator and assay documentation.
Yes. The brochure lists Code 39, Code 128, ITF, NW-7 and JAN barcode formats. Sample IDs can also be entered manually for nonbarcoded specimens.
The brochure lists an RS-232C interface and states that the analyzer can be connected to a laboratory information system. Confirm interface specifications, middleware and validation requirements for the laboratory’s LIS environment.
The AIA-PACK unit-dose test cups do not require onboard refrigeration, premixing or premeasuring. Storage conditions and expiration requirements for unopened and opened products remain assay specific and must be taken from the current instructions for use.
The manufacturer brochure references cardiac, thyroid, reproductive, tumor, metabolic, anemia and other immunoassay categories. The linked menu is dated 2013, so laboratories should contact Jant to confirm the currently available U.S. assays, calibrators and controls.
The AIA-360 is not presented as an open-channel analyzer. Use only assays, calibrators, controls, common reagents and consumables specifically labeled as compatible with the AIA-360.
CLIA complexity is assigned to individual tests, not to the analyzer as a whole. Review the current assay labeling and applicable regulatory database for each test on the laboratory’s menu.
The compact format and standardized Tosoh AIA reagent system may make the AIA-360 useful as backup capacity for compatible assays. Confirm reagent alignment, calibration, result comparability, workflow validation and service coverage before adopting it for that role.
Identify the planned test menu, expected daily volume, specimen types, LIS requirements, bench space and electrical service. Jant can then confirm analyzer availability, reagent and control requirements, installation, training, warranty and service coverage.
