Mag-Bind® TotalPure NGS | Size Selection Beads and PCR Clean Up
The Mag-Bind® TotalPure NGS is an efficient solution tailored for the purification of DNA and RNA in next-generation sequencing workflows, with remarkable recovery rates. This versatile product facilitates flexible size selection, accommodating left, right, or double-sided selection based on the chosen reagent-to-sample ratio. Mag-Bind® TotalPure NGS serves both manual and fully automated purification processes for DNA, RNA, and PCR products.
Utilizing Omega Bio-tek’s proprietary chemistries and the magnetic beads’ reversible nucleic acid-binding properties, this system selectively binds fragments, effectively removing excess nucleotides, primers, and non-targeted products like primer-dimers. The purified DNA and RNA are well-suited for various downstream applications, including NGS library preparation, microarrays, automated fluorescent sequencing, and restriction enzyme digestion.

Can Mag-Bind TotalPure NGS be used for “High Molecular Weight (HMW)” DNA?
Mag-Bind TotalPure NGS can be used to clean HMW gDNA. We have cleaned up fragments as large as 50-60 kb with good efficiency.
Can Mag-Bind TotalPure NGS be used for DNA and RNA?
Yes. DNA and RNA can be cleaned up using Mag-Bind TotalPure NG
What is the smallest size recovery using TotalPure NGS?
Recovery success has been achieved for fragments down to 100 bp. Moreover, a protocol modification involving the addition of 1.8 volumes of beads and 1 volume of isopropyl alcohol has resulted in successful recovery of fragments as short as 50 bp. Please add 1.8 volumes of beads and 1 volume of isopropyl alcohol.
