The Mag-Bind® cfDNA Kit: A Scalable and Automatable Solution for cfDNA Isolation

The Mag-Bind® cfDNA Kit is meticulously engineered for the swift and dependable isolation of circulating DNA from plasma or serum samples, ranging from 500 µL to 10,000 µL. This kit is versatile, allowing for manual processing or integration with automated platforms. Notably, the procedure obviates the necessity for funnels and vacuum stages, facilitating a seamless, hands-free operation, particularly in automated workflows.

A distinguishing feature of this kit is its specially formulated binding buffer. It permits the processing of large sample volumes in automated systems, accommodating up to 4 mL of serum or plasma in a single well of a 24-well plate. Additionally, the rapid magnetic responsiveness of the Mag-Bind® Particles CH is advantageous during phases that demand large volumes. Its elevated binding capacity minimizes the quantity of magnetic particles needed, consequently diminishing the elution volume to a mere 50 µL for 4 mL serum or plasma specimens.

Furthermore, the Mag-Bind® cfDNA Kit has been successfully automated to accommodate 10 mL samples on Hamilton platforms.
