The assay incorporates rigorously optimized primer–probe sets targeting 18 high-value genetic markers, including major beta-lactamase families, carbapenemases, macrolide resistance determinants, tetracycline resistance genes, sulfonamide-associated markers, and vancomycin resistance elements. Every reaction well includes an internal control (RNase P/RPP30) to monitor extraction efficiency and amplification quality, supporting consistent run-to-run performance.

To accommodate a wide range of laboratory environments, the panel is offered as pre-spotted 384-well plates for automated, high-density workflows or as tube-based reagents suitable for lower-throughput or customized setups. Both formats streamline assay preparation and help maintain uniform performance.

Multiplex detection of numerous AMR genes in a single reaction reduces time-to-result and simplifies research workflows compared to phenotypic susceptibility methods. Pre-spotted plates remove the need for manual oligo handling, minimizing variability and opportunities for contamination. All components are shipped on dry ice and stored between –15 °C and –25 °C to preserve stability over extended periods.

The panel accepts direct specimens or purified nucleic acids, with a recommended reaction volume of 10 μL in 384-well systems. Standard and accelerated cycling protocols are supported to accommodate varying instrument platforms and study designs.
